Dan Hallett and Associates Inc. (DH&A) is an independent investment research and investment counsel firm based in Windsor Ontario. With a specialty in managed money, DH&A's research blends both qualitative and quantitative factors in producing its unique brand of candid, opinionated research on money managers and a broad array of investment products. Dan Hallett, President
Dan Hallett is the president of Dan Hallett and Associates Inc. (DH&A). Prior to launching DH&A, Dan was the Senior Investment Analyst with Sterling Mutuals Inc. - a Windsor Ontario based mutual fund dealer. Prior to that, Dan held the position of Senior Analyst with FundMonitor.com Corporation - a Toronto based investment research firm where he was integral in the development of online portfolio analysis tools. Dan led each respective firm's fund research efforts and counselled many of Canada's top financial advisors on portfolio design for their high net worth clients.
Recognized as an investment expert, Dan's views and opinions are regularly featured in TV, print and online media. His articles appear in Canadian MoneySaver magazine, on www.StingyInvestor.com, and on the Globe and Mail's investing websites. He has also served as a contributor and/or reference for a number of best-selling personal finance publications.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licensee, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Dan is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts (TSFA).

Norm Rothery, Chief Investment Strategist
Norm Rothery, Ph.D., CFA, is the Chief Investment Strategist at Dan
Hallett and Associates Inc.(DH&A). He is also the founder of StingyInvestor.com and produces The Rothery Report newsletter which provides
research to entrepreneurial value-oriented investors.
His articles have appeared in many publications including the Canadian
MoneySaver, MoneySense, GlobeAdvisor.com, MSN.ca and The Canadian Foundation for Investor Education.
In addition, he has contributed to several best-selling books on
personal finance.
Previously, Norm worked as FundMonitor.com's Chief Investment Strategist and eventually took on the title of Chief Technology Officer. Amongst other achievements, Norm developed expert systems that analyzed fundamental and technical factors to rank thousands of U.S. and Canadian stocks.
Norm obtained his doctorate in high-precision atomic physics from York University where he also holds undergraduate degrees in physics and applied mathematics.
